Arizona 100 Mile Races

Arizona's 100-mile races share a distance and little else. The Javelina Jundred, on Halloween weekend at McDowell Mountain Regional Park, is a Western States Golden Ticket race, and finishing under 30 hours qualifies you for the Western States lottery. The Coldwater Hundred in January uses two 10-mile loops and three 27-mile loops at Estrella Mountain Regional Park, with buckles for finishes under 32 and 24 hours. Fat Ox in November and Across The Years over New Year offer 100 miles on short certified loops in Goodyear and Peoria. The Cocodona 250 in May includes a 100-mile option, the Bradshaw Brute 100. The Mogollon Monster 100 in September climbs the Mogollon Rim six times, with about 16,000 feet of gain between 5,200 and 8,000 feet of elevation.
