RaceGoat text messages

RaceGoat (racegoat.com, operated by Dead Reckoning Labs Inc) sends text messages to runners who opt in when they register for a race: registration confirmations, race-day alerts (start times, weather and course changes) and event logistics such as packet pickup. We never send marketing texts and never share or sell phone numbers.

How you opt in

Every registration form has this box beside the mobile number field. It is unchecked by default, separate from accepting the Terms and waiver, and optional: you can register without it. (A picture of the box, not a working one.)

I agree to receive registration confirmations, race-day alerts and logistics text messages from RaceGoat and the event organizer at the mobile number I provided, including messages sent by an automatic telephone dialing system. SMS Terms

Program. RaceGoat race alerts, operated by Dead Reckoning Labs Inc: registration confirmations, race-day alerts and event logistics for races you register for on RaceGoat. No marketing messages.
Frequency. Message frequency varies by race, usually a few messages around race day.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. RaceGoat does not charge for texts.
Opting out. Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT to any message. You will get one confirmation and no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe. You can also turn texts on or off for one race or every race at racegoat.com/sms/preferences.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email support@racegoat.com.
Eligibility. Available to U.S. mobile numbers. You must be the account holder for the number, or have the account holder's permission, and be 13 or older (under 18 with a parent or guardian's consent).
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy.
