Arizona Races

Aravaipa Running puts on races across Arizona all year, and this page lists every upcoming one with its date, venue and distances. The desert season runs October through April, when the Desert Runner Trail Series moves through Maricopa County regional parks such as McDowell Mountain, Usery and White Tank. Highlights include the Javelina Jundred on Halloween weekend, the point-to-point Black Canyon Ultras in February and the Cocodona 250 from Black Canyon City to Flagstaff in May. Road runners get the Tucson Marathon in December and Mountain To Fountain in Fountain Hills in March. Once the valley heats up, racing shifts to the Insomniac night series and to the pines of Flagstaff for Big Pine and Blackout in June, then closes with the Mogollon Monster 100 near Pine in September.
