About this event
Experience the magic of night trail running at the Sinister Night Runs. The opening race of the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series takes you through rolling terrain and majestic saguaro cacti beneath a starlit sky in San Tan Mountain Regional Park.
Every distance runs counterclockwise on a 9 km loop of the San Tan, Hedgehog and Littleleaf Trails: smooth, runnable singletrack with a few rollers and rocks for fun. Run six loops in the 54K, three in the 27K, two in the 18K or one in the 9K, or make the 6K your first night on trail. San Tan Aid sits out on the loop and the start/finish aid station serves hot food through the night. It is a cupless race, so bring your own cup or pick one up on site.
Carpe Noctem: seize the night.
